ZArtist+ - The Ziksa Curated Artist Program

ZArtist+ is Ziksa Creative Studio’s curated platform designed to promote independent artists, foster community engagement, and create meaningful exposure opportunities through exhibitions, showcases, and art sale events — all within a thoughtfully designed studio environment.

ZArtist+ extends Ziksa beyond classes into a living art ecosystem, while preserving the integrity of our structured curriculum.

ZArtist+ exists to:

• Support and promote local and emerging artists
• Provide artists a curated space to showcase and sell their work
• Introduce families and students to real-world artistic journeys
• Build a vibrant creative community around Ziksa Creative Studio

This program is curated to ensure alignment with Ziksa’s values, aesthetics, and educational mission.

Selected ZArtist+ artists may be invited to:

• Exhibit original artwork at Ziksa Creative Studio or at partner locations
• Participate in curated showcase days or gallery-style pop-ups
• Sell artwork directly to the public during promotional events
• Conduct live painting or demonstrations
• Engage in artist talks or informal Q&A sessions

All ZArtist+ activities take place outside regular curriculum hours.

ZArtist+ is a curated program. Participation is by selection to maintain quality and alignment.

Artists are considered based on:

• Originality and quality of work
• Artistic style and presentation
• Alignment with Ziksa’s family-friendly and inclusive environment
• Readiness to engage with the community
• Professional conduct and respect for studio guidelines

Artists may work across mediums including (but not limited to):

• Painting
• Drawing
• Mixed media
• Abstract and contemporary art

Include the following:

• Brief artist introduction
• Portfolio or social media links
• Preferred medium(s)
• Any prior exhibition or showcase experience (if applicable)

All submissions are reviewed on a rolling basis. Selected artists will be contacted with next steps and available showcase opportunities.

• ZArtist+ showcases are typically hosted on:
  • Friday evenings
  • Saturday afternoons
  • Sunday afternoons
• Events may run for 2–6 hours
• Dates are coordinated in advance with selected artists
• Setup and teardown times are agreed upon prior to each event

Ziksa reserves the right to curate the number of artists per event to maintain a high-quality experience.

ZArtist+ operates on a transparent, artist-friendly model:

• Ziksa retains 15–30% commission on artwork sales
• No upfront studio rental fee
• Artist sets artwork pricing
• Artist handles payment processing unless otherwise agreed

• Flat studio usage fee (event-specific)
• Reduced commission percentage
• Used primarily for larger or exclusive showcases

Specific terms are confirmed prior to each event.

Participating artists agree to:

• Treat the studio space, furniture, and displays with care
• Be responsible for their artwork, setup, and materials
• Maintain a clean and respectful environment
• Accept responsibility for any damages caused during their use
• Acknowledge and respect Ziksa Creative Studio branding

Ziksa Creative Studio reserves the right to approve displayed content and event presentation.

ZArtist+ also:

• Inspires students by exposing them to professional artists
• Creates opportunities for advanced students to observe or assist
• Reinforces Ziksa’s mission of connecting learning with real-world creative practice
